1. Survey and measurement
Every yacht transport begins with a survey. Beam, length, weight, and especially keel depth are critical. For overland transit the route is simulated in advance for bridge clearance and tight bends.
2. Route planning
Special transit permits are arranged for highways, state roads, and provincial crossings in Türkiye. Loads above 3.5m wide trigger night-transit and escort requirements.
3. Loading and the hydraulic trailer
Self-loading hydraulic trailers allow the vessel to be lifted without hull stress. The boat rests on bespoke cradles; support points are set per builder documentation.
4. Insurance and delivery
Full hull insurance at declared value runs through the entire transport. On arrival, a visual inspection is signed by both parties — coverage is active right up to that signature.
